Chancery

Speeds up troop training: the same Barracks turns out a bigger army sooner, and losses are replaced faster.

Long tables, inkwells and the smell of sealing wax. In the chancery, clerks keep the muster rolls, tally the supplies, write out the drill orders. Before the sword, the pen does its work.

A well-kept ledger turns the crowd waiting at the barracks gate into an army. In a holding with a chancery, no hand sits idle.
