Drill Yard

After a battle, part of your losses come home as wounded; you can keep up march after march.

A wide square spread with sand. In the drill yard soldiers live through battle again and again: the shield wall is raised, broken, raised once more. At the edge of the square an old surgeon waits patiently with his bandages and salves.

A soldier trained here knows how to fall and how to rise. The wounded who return from battle rejoin the ranks through the drill yard's healing.

Won in the Common tier of the auction.
