Farrier

A well-shod horse moves faster: your riders and sipahis reach their target sooner, leaving the defender less time to respond.

At the anvil, a master in a leather apron, nails between his lips, a horse's hoof upon his knee. The farrier knows every horse by name, and which should be shod for stone and which for mud.

A well-shod horse walks without tiring and does not falter on the road. A rider's speed comes, in part, from the farrier's patience.

Won in the Common tier of the auction.
