Ophira

Spine of the Serpent

Ophira coils atop the spine of a giant serpent sleeping beneath the earth. It is said that if the serpent wakes, mountains will split and seas will trade places; the only thing keeping it asleep is the altar's undying fire. So whoever holds Ophira guards not just an altar, but the sleep of the world.
