Quarry

The chisels splitting the rock never fall silent; as the Quarry grows, more stone flows to your walls and your storehouse.

On the mountainside, iron wedges are driven into the rock, soaked, and left to wait. Then the mountain, as if it had given its consent, lets go of a piece of its own back. The masons lower the blocks on sledges and true their faces with chisel and mallet.

Every block from the quarry becomes part of a wall, a storehouse, a castle gate. Wood is the work of one generation; stone speaks to the centuries.

  • Trebuchet shot: Chosen at level 10. Your trebuchets wreck deeper: a rival's building drops more levels.
  • Wall stone: Chosen at level 10. Knocking down one level of your wall takes a quarter more rams.
