Ataya
The bloodline of healers. Some of their fallen have their wounds bound on the battlefield and come home.
Ataya was the name of the first healer to pitch a tent at the edge of the battlefield. Whatever banner the wounded came from, she bound them all alike and sat by them through the night. On the morning after a battle thought lost, a hundred soldiers counted among the dead walked out of her tent and returned to their banners. Ever since, a staff with a serpent coiled around it has been carved on the doors of Ataya's houses. Even when their army falls back, half of it comes home, for the name of every fallen soldier is written in a healer's book. To Ataya, an army is measured not by its sword but by how many rise to their feet the next morning.
What it does
In every battle, attacking or defending, 20% of the troops you lose bind their wounds, return to your holding and take their place in your army again. The Drill Yard grants the same healing: if you have both, the Drill Yard saves its share first, and Ataya takes its share from the rest.
Three rules
Once your holding is founded, your house stays with you for the whole Age. In a new Age, you choose again.
Rivals learn your house only by sending scouts; your allies can see it.
Your house's bonus adds to that of any building that does the same job.
Choose your banner.
You choose your house when you join a world. Let your banner reflect the way you play.
